Graduates of the University of Florida earned a first place finish at the 5th Annual Spirit of Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (SEED) National Collegiate Venture Forum.  Agapitus Lye (BSEE ’06; BSCE ’06), and company ToneRite, were named the winners of the “Angel Prize” at the event, which took place March 14-15, 2008 in Santa Barbara, CA. Other semi-finalist schools represented at the competition included Harvard University, Emory University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  For the ToneRite team, the trip to California extends their winning streak. They took top honors at the 2007 Howard J. Leonhardt Business Plan Competition, hosted by the University of Florida, and went on to win the Sunshine State Venture Challenge in the fall of 2007.    --2008 University of Florida Press Release
